I'm a Storyboard Artist/Animator/Storyreel Artist/Character Layout Artist, currently working on The Simpsons TV show. I have, in fact, worked there since 1993 and yes, I also worked on the movie.
Sorry I took so long to get back to you, I didn't see your question until now.
Just about everything is now done on the Cintiqs, the only thing that is done by hand are most of the designs, some backgrounds and the exposure sheets.
Thanks again for all your advice and encouragement on the animation so far! I've taken a break on it for the week to get some actual work done, so I'll be getting back to it sometime next week... Just now got around to scoping out your gallery—very fun, inspiring stuff! I'm even more flattered now! I'll be watching for more!
You gotti! Different but same crowd here. Finding some hidden inspiration and resources amongst the throves of furries crazy people, and anime, chibi, etc. extremists. LOL I had heard they existed, but this is too much! LOL
